Uh yeah, so here I am, blogging again. Thought I would share some quick thoughts on the day. Started off at 6:30 and had to run inside on the dreadmill. Being that it was already almost 80 degrees outside with about 80% humidity, I thought it wise to run indoors in order to survive the 3 miles.
I'm training for another half marathon. Yes, I said another. The next one will be the Brewer's Mini Marathon on September 22, 2012. I hate that they use the phrase "mini marathon" instead of "half marathon." Just seems like a bit of an understatement to call 13.1 miles of running "mini." So from now on I will call it a half.
And yes, while training for this half, I am still tri training. What a go-getter, I know! I still have an olympic and sprint to do! Tomorrow is a swim day and based on this Hal Higdon Novice 2 program, I should run 3 miles, but I may just do a quick 2 post-swim. Looking forward to getting into the pool early tomorrow morning. So nice to have a lane all to myself!
